POSTALS by Josep Sauleda i Paulís and Josep Sauleda i Roca

The large amount of work and the desire for Sauleda to progress forced father and son (years later, when the latter joined the company) to have to travel constantly in order to take it forward and turn it into the textile company we know today. Forced to be away from their families and loved ones, one of the only and most effective ways of keeping in touch with each other was by sending postcards. A large number of these are still preserved today. We have chosen some of the oldest and most curious ones especially for today’s post.

All data provided are substantiated by notarial deeds, letters, postcards, writings and company accounts.

Stay tuned, Sauleda’s curiosities every month!
