At Sauleda we manufacture fabrics to protect people. But for us, protection means more than just manufacturing quality materials. It also means taking care of those who form part of our team, promoting healthy habits and a balanced lifestyle.

For this reason, last 12th and 13th July we took part in the Mussara 24h of Montmeló. A relay cycling event where more than a hundred people from Sauleda cycled for 24 hours in a row, sharing an experience outside the usual work environment.

The event was demanding, but not competitive. No one ran to win, but to add up. Each relay was a way of being, of participating, of being part of the group. During the day, the teams organised themselves to keep up the pace, but also to rest, to cheer and to cover each section without interruptions. They rode day and night, under the sun, the moon and the rain on a circuit that became a real challenge.

This was not a casual activity, but a demonstration of the values that define us as a company. Participating in a sporting event not only promotes physical health, but also strengthens the sense of belonging, reinforces internal relationships and provides motivation that cannot be achieved in a meeting room or an office. That’s why we make it part of our company culture.

Taking part in the Mussara 24h was not an isolated action. We have been taking part in this event for three years now, as part of the activities we promote within the company to encourage wellbeing and teamwork. We manufacture fabrics that protect, yes, but we also build a way of working where people feel part of something shared. And that matters too.

Thanks to everyone who made it possible.
