THE SAULEDA THREAD PROCESS, SCROLL DOWN!

To produce our Sauleda Masacril fabrics for sun protection, we obtain the virgin mass dyed fibre directly from the producer.

When it enters production, it goes through a carding process where the fibre is combed. It then passes through the draw frames, where it is parallelised and homogenised, after which the stretching process begins, which consists of two parts in order to obtain the thread of a rope. Finally, we twist two strands together to obtain a double yarn and, in this way, we obtain optimum quality and strength to be able to manufacture our fabrics.

Stay tuned, Sauleda’s curiosities every month!
