At Sauleda we are faithful to our commitment to constantly renew ourselves in order to fulfil our main mission: “Protecting people and the environment”.
Therefore, the company’s 9 sites are equipped and coordinated under environmentally friendly measures.
One of our centres, located in Santa Maria d’Oló, has three types of treatment: physical-chemical, biological and activated carbon.
At the Gironella spinning plant, Balvitex, 100% of the electricity consumed comes from renewable sources. We also have a turbine that harnesses the power of the water to produce energy.
The Berga plant has a Regenerative Thermal Oxidation system for the treatment of fumes. It also has a biomass boiler, which uses only the remains of undergrowth from the Berguedà area as fuel.
Behind each of our products is a concern for the environment.
