The constant investment in R+D+i places Sauleda in a privileged position within the sector of tarpaulins for sun protection and technical fabrics with very diverse and innovative areas of application.

Sauleda’s facilities and plants are equipped with automatic production lines that use the most modern technologies and safety measures. This policy allows us to enjoy a privileged position within the sector. Investments in technology have strengthened the policy of research and development of new products.

At Sauleda we follow a strict supplier selection process to guarantee the highest quality standards in all types of canvas applications: domestic, decorative and industrial.

We focus investments strategically to control the key factors of the production process of our products:

  • Ensure the supply of high-quality raw materials. For this reason, Sauleda has had its own spinning mill since 1990.

  • Constantly invest in production plants. Carry out extensions, technical and production improvements, with total respect for the environment, achieving continuous production to provide service and stock to all our collections of awning canvases.

  • Be self-sufficient in the production of technical fabrics. In our factory, located in Berga (Barcelona), each fabric receives the finish corresponding to its characteristics.

  • To have our own logistics centre, which ensures and guarantees the distribution of all our products anywhere in the world.

  • Opening new markets: after the incorporation of the TUVATEXTIL group, Sauleda launches the Agora textile, decorative and upholstery collections.
