Solution Dyed Acrylic

All acrylic fabrics produced by Sauleda are Solution Dyed Acrylic, which means that a long-lasting dyeing process is followed that provides maximum durability and quality in the fabric.

A Solution Dyed Acrylic fabric is one that is impregnated into the paint from its raw material, before starting with the process of making the fabric. The fabric is dyed even before it becomes yarn. This is a big difference from other (more generalized) processes where the fabric is dyed once it has been made.

When a fabric is mass-dyed, the paint is applied to it from its very base, so the color is part of it from the beginning. The mass dyeing technique is one of the highlights of our collection of acrylic fabrics and especially the Solar Pro sun protection fabric division.
