SAULEDA, S.A., founded in 1897 by Mr. Victoriano Sauleda, with his son José Sauleda Paulis in charge of the business, established the foundations of this company in a solid and rigorous manner. Creation of the company Lluveras y Sauleda S.A. The company founded by Victoriano Sauleda is made up of all the sons of Victoriano Sauleda and the Lluveras family, in Sant Pol de Mar.

Incorporation of the company José Sauleda
For more than forty years, the company was operating in Sant Pol de Mar, where the José Sauleda company was later established by Josep Sauleda i Paulís

Inauguration of the new production centre for coated technical fabrics in Berga
Offering a 365-degree service has been Sauleda’s goal for many decades. PVC fabrics are part of Sauleda’s core business and this plant offers all the possibilities to provide the best service for plasticized fabrics.

Acquisition of Tuvatextil, S.L.
Company specialized in outdoor upholstery. The Agora brand of high quality fabrics created for both indoor and outdoor upholstery, was born as a result of the fusion of the knowledge and desire for innovation of two experts in the manufacture of fabrics: Sauleda and Tuvatexil.
2019
Creation of the new warp center. Logistics centre in Sallent.
Sauleda relocates warp production to its new headquarters in Sallent. This new headquarters also creates the Sauleda logistics hub for yarn. The more than 120 yarn references available at Sauleda are stored here and distributed as needed to the different production centres of Sauleda.

Launch of Green, the first fabric that purifies the air
Creation of GREEN fabrics, treated and designed by Sauleda and Pureti, clean and purify the air through photocatalysis. They remove pollutants such as NOx, SOx, and VOCs. They have a self-cleaning and mould-reducing effect. They save time, money, water, chemicals, and energy. This is Sauleda’s commitment to the environment and people’s health

Acquisition of plant and land in Avinyó
Sauleda buys the ownership of a textile warehouse in the Bages region along with more than 50,000 m2 of buildable space. Sauleda’s commitment to industry in the local territory takes a new leap in quality, betting on the future of the company in the region.

Acquisition of Jak Spinning
Faced with the increase in market demand, Sauleda invests in the purchase of a plant with two working spinning lines in Ják, Hungary. This step allows Sauleda to have greater spinning capacity and greater flexibility in service.

Opening of Showroom Agora Jakarta
Given the importance of the Southeast Asian region in the world of clothing and upholstery, under its Agora brand, Sauleda strengthens its presence in the region through the Showroom in which events are created with customers for training in new fabrics and applications.

125th Anniversary of Sauleda
At the Intercontinental Hotel in Madrid, the Sauleda family celebrated the anniversary of the founding of Sauleda with 400 people. Friends and customers from all over the world gathered in the capital on November 17 for a gala dinner to look back and share old memories.

Acquisition of Eurotronic
