Inner Layer
The inner layers (bottom and top) are the ones that have to ensure good adhesion between the polyester fabric and the coating.
Bottom Finish
Matte lacquer: It is possible to apply a last layer of lacquer, on one or both sides of the article, to facilitate cleaning and give it extra protection against external phenomena.

MAINTENANCE OF SOLAR PRO TECH TECHNICAL FABRICS
Easy to clean
The more we take care of the fabric, the longer we can enjoy it.
Our basic tips:
- Regularly remove dirt with a damp cloth or washcloth, insisting on the areas where we see stains.
- Sporadically, depending on the application, we can clean with a jet of water at medium pressure.
- Never apply heat sources. No hot water or high-pressure cleaners
- Allow the tarpaulin to dry completely in the open air.
- Do not use abrasive solvents or detergents.
MAINTENANCE OF COMMERCIAL FABRICS
Although GALE Pacific shade cloth is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE) and resists dirt, moisture and chemicals well, regular cleaning is essential to keep it looking good and prolong its life. Here are some practical tips on how to clean it properly:
- Use lukewarm water (max. 50°C) with a pH-neutral, non-abrasive detergent.
- Avoid products containing acids, solvents or aggressive chemicals.
- Apply the detergent with a mop or a brush with long, soft bristles.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water, preferably with a gentle spray.
- For more thorough cleaning, remove the cloth, place it on a flat surface and wash with pressurised water at a safe distance.
- Handle the fabric with care during removal, cleaning and reinstallation.
- Ensure that the fabric is completely dry before reinstallation.
- Consult the manufacturer before removing or reassembling the structure.
- Check the ingredients of any cleaning solution for halogens, strong acids or alkalis.
- Ask for a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) if there is any doubt about the product.
- Always follow the cleaning product manufacturer’s instructions.
